For this exhibition, Rafael Fuchs has created a cohesive body of figurative paintings, mixed media and photo collages, each of which depicts, in the artist's abstrusely playful visual language on a familiar tradition . The characters, while loosely recognizable as such, seem eerily fluid : the figures are all saturated via accidental computer generated glitch, their bodies rendered as shimmering. Their distinctly organic appearance is further emphasized by seemingly woven lines and spewing colors that emits from a digital as well as a physical brush in each work.

As is typical of Fuchs's latests practice, his saturated, colors rendering provides a mask for a series of mysterious, frequently repetitive themes and motifs; the paintings create a bizarre, contradictory depictions of quotidian subjects, containing equal measures of affection and menace.
Fuchs employs an oddball sense of humor - rife with visual puns and exaggerated stylization - to allow the viewer to access his work's quietly foreboding undertones, as well as the darkness he perceives in the day-to-day of modern life. Within this show, the phrase Jewish tradition ("Masoret") is made literal by the streams of  colors that emit from the religious figures. The fantasy of a thought, as suggested by the exhibition's title (Are You Hungry for ...fame ? food ? security ? love? belief ? sustainability ?), provides a respite from the mechanized pattern of life. The figures' odd, yet with physique appearance and anonymity further suggest this kind of musings, this treatment of people as morphed realities.
