Artist's statement : Reality is always a creation set up by process.
In
this case, the body of work titled “In Between” was created by the
adaptation of images that were constructed by an ”error” of my
computer
This error created a pattern with all the images viewed on my monitor.
At
first aggravated with the unexpected transformation that created
this certain manifestation, I conformed to it being intrigued that
this simple error reflects the process and perception of
photography itself.
"In Between" is Rafael Fuchs new series of archival pigment prints. These vibrant works present themselves as hybrid expressions of narrative and abstract, and hence, the title "In Between" . Furthermore, the works embrace the disciplines of chance printing methods. The images transcend the boundaries of figure and nature, manifesting the surreal and spiritual.
