Fuchs Projects is pleased to announce the exhibition of important photographs by Rafael Fuchs from the private collection of the Lis Family.

A special private collection of over 100 photographs by Rafael Fuchs, many of them rare, some unique, and including vintage prints from the 80’s that weren't shown before.

"Rafael's work is an intimate social portraiture. There is no conflict between the reality and his personality. He moves freely between different presentations of the reality (as from color to black and white, and back to color). The connection with his subjects is intimate within the space, although, at times a detail in the bacground or an object in the surrounding is crucial to understanding the "weight" of the moment.
